Role Overview
This role involves overseeing a group of junior and senior ads strategists while managing their highest-paying client accounts. You will be responsible for training your team, establishing and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensuring the highest quality of service and performance for our clients. You will ultimately be accountable for the onboarding, setup, optimization, and maintenance of all client ad accounts, with success measured by the ROI achieved through our advertising efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations and strategic direction of the ads team, including both junior and senior strategists
- Establish, implement, and enforce effective SOPs for the ads team to maintain consistent quality and performance
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, helping them develop their skills and ensuring adherence to best practices
- Manage key client accounts, ensuring proper onboarding, setup, optimization, and maintenance of ad campaigns to achieve desired outcomes
- Maintain accountability for the quality of work delivered by the team, regularly reviewing performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement
- Lead initiatives to continually enhance campaign performance, with a focus on maximizing client ROI
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to digital marketing
- Continuously monitor industry trends, platform updates, and best practices to stay competitive
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience managing a team
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Google PPC and Google LSA campaigns
- Proven experience managing an ads team, with a successful track record in a similar role
- Advanced experience with Google Ads
- Experience in developing and enforcing SOPs
- Self-sufficiency, strong ownership mentality, and the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to proactively suggest solutions and engage with team members and clients
