What you will do:
Design and implementation of the overall web architecture
Design and implement API REST or GraphQL
Building reusable code and libraries for future use
Optimization of the application for performance, speed, and scalability
Implementation of security and data protection
Design and implementation of data storage solutions
Develop and deploy model training and inference endpoints.
Collaborating with ML engineers and scientists
Occasionally integrate APIs with Front-end functionality and/or assist front end engineers with integration.
Requirements
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system and API surface, sharing API design in Swagger UI and testing APIs in Postman.
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes specifically hands on experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL DB.
Understanding existing data models and developing new data models to support new features andfunctionality.
Proficiency with cloud infrastructure and services broadly and specifically with AWS
Lambda functions for serverless computing and ECS (Elastic Container Service) instances for container management, PostgreSQL, Elastic search, Amazon S3 buckets,
AWS Amplify, CloudFront CDN, Route53, managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS cloud watch.
ML data management (collect, store, manage data)
ML infrastructure monitoring and maintenance, familiarity with architectural choices for ML systems.
